They do not entitle an emotional support animal to the rights and privileges accorded by law to a guide, signal, or service dog, and they are not a substitute for a letter from a licensed health care professional, which is what a housing provider may ask for. Knowingly and fraudulently representing yourself as the owner or trainer of a guide, signal, or service dog is a misdemeanor under California Penal Code §365.7 and unlawful in many other states.

How fast is it, really?
The form takes two or three minutes. Payment takes one. The PDFs are generated the moment Stripe confirms the charge, usually within a few seconds, and emailed to you.
Do I need an appointment or an evaluation?
No. There are no health questions. Registration is a record of your pet and you, not a medical process.
Will my landlord have to accept this?
No. A card alone doesn't create housing rights. Under the Fair Housing Act, what a housing provider may ask for is a letter from a licensed health professional who knows you. Read about ESA letters. Many people carry a card alongside their letter for everyday convenience.
Which animals can I register?
Dogs, cats, rabbits, birds, reptiles and other household companions. One registration per animal.
What if I want my money back?
